Welcome! We have a wide array of opportunities for youth to grow in their faith in God, nurture their path as disciples of Jesus Christ and to have fun and make friends! From Sunday mornings to mid-week, from Mission Trips to Water Game, from service projects to Bible Study, our goal is to help teens develop a way by which to see their world and lives as people of faith and followers of Jesus.
The 10am Sunday School hour offers two opportunities for youth to grow and connect. Lessons are grounded in the Bible while connecting to current events and real life. Sunday School is divided into two age groups
- Middle School (6th through 8th grades)
- High School (9th through 12th grades)
Youth Group meets year round on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 8pm in the Discipleship Center. Created for students in grades 6th through 12th grade, students spend time worshipping together, in age-appropriate Bible study (Middle School and High School meet separately) and other fun activities such as games, service projects and more!
To find out more about how to get connected to all the fun contact our Interim Associate Minister Kayla Coffee-Prose at 972-542-4491.
Each Spring Break the Youth group departs McKinney to serve God through Mission work. In the past students and adults have built casita in Mexico, helped Southwest Good Samaritan Ministries in south Texas, helped build La Rocca Christian Church in south Dallas and much more. During Spring Break 2018 they are helping rebuild a home in Texas City, deeply damaged by recent hurricanes.
