Ever feel like you are trying really hard but just missing the mark? Like God has more in store for you? Save the date for February 4-5, 2017 and spend a weekend away, in the company of other women exploring how God is calling you to discover who you are and how to live in that discovery with grace and compassion. Join us for a weekend of reflection and active spiritual practice as we explore ways to engage our faith and passion. Our theme this year is Space for Grace and will be led by Dr Katherine Godby.
We will leave the church at 8:30am Saturday, February 4 to travel to Prothro and return to McKinney by 11:30am on Sunday, February 5. Just a little over 24-hours away from home but time well spent. Never gone on an overnight retreat? You can expect that the evening is laidback, we will have a bonfire and smores (or roasted marshmallows if that's more your thing!), games and time to just hang out and be together, to laugh and to tell stories. Sleeping accommodation are 4 to a room but each person gets their own bed. If you prefer more private accommodation we can make that happen!
Daytime participants will depart from the church at 8:30am Saturday and return to the church 8pm that same evening. While you won't get to make smores, it's still a fun time!
